There is no one answer to this question. But people probably SHOULD start having sex after they have good jobs, healthy emotional states and stable relationships, so that they will be prepared for the possible consequences of children and heartbreak. Of course, people rarely do as they should and most people just start having sex when they are too horny to resist.

When you actually understand how it works and what risks are involved and when you don't have to wonder if your ready and you just know. And with someone you love.
I waited til 18....I think that is a good age if your with someone you love and TRUST. Though sometimes I wish I would have waited for the next person in my life cuz that guy broke up with me 2 weeks afterward even though we were together for 7 months before then.

I don't think that there is a specific age. I think that if you are not mature enough to talk about it then you shouldn't do it. But if I put a number on it I would say 18 and up.
