I have a 4 1/2 month old beagle mix and he is a walking vacuum cleaner. Since I am potty training him to go outside, I attach a leash to his collar even if we are in the backyard. This way I have control over where he goes.
When we go out for walks on the street, I use a gentle lead. It helps to keep his head up at all times and prevents him to pull while walking. You can buy a gentle lead in any mayor pet store.

Puppies always try to chew on everything. Training her and trying to keep things out of her reach. Unfortunately training and age are the only solutions other than putting her in a room with nothing in it and we all know that won't work.

Hope you have wormed your pup. When out on the lead say NO very firmly and move her away from the interest. Make sure nothing of interest is left lying about in your garden. Your pup should soon learn that everything found is not for her to eat. Make a fuss of her when she obeys you.

To train them not to do this. Go to an empty room. Pet on leash. Put a treat on the floor. If she lunges at it pull her back and say no or your stop word. Do this again and again until she stops lunging at it. The whole time say leave it. When she stops going after it reward her and say take it. Let her get the treat than. She will learn to wait until you tell her to take something before she does it.

Train her! Start as you mean to go on and teach her good behaviour!
Don't leave her unattended in the garden or outside! Put various articles and food around the garden and walk her past them on the lead! Every time she approaches them tell her 'Leave' and praise her extravagantly when she does! You should also do it in the house if she is doing something she shouldn't.

Keep the yard clean of things she picks up. When walking if she goes for something puul on her leash and say " leave it "" and always use the sam command. Worth a try, the other thing is, if she is alway's sniffing just say "" no sniff "" and pull on her leash.

Teach the "leave it" cue. This skill even translates to leaving cats and other fun-to-chase things alone with many dogs.
This site describes it well: http://www.clickertraining.com/node/57

train it not too, or maby its bored, give it something to do like new toys or teach it some tricks. dogs like learning thing because they get loads of attention when they do it right, but dont over-work her.
