ok I was going to the store last night and I ran into my ex we had a great wonderful relationship together I thought this guy was my soul mate we have been broken up for about 3 years and we got to talking he hugged me and I told him I am single now and told him I regret ever letting him go because I do he told me well that makes two of us what did he mean by this and should I pursue getting back with him he took my number and told me we will talk later about things he told me to come around more often not be a stranger is he just messing with me or is there a chance we can become one again>?

I'm a big fan of no second chances, so i say no, don't get back with him. That's just moving backwards.
To be fair though, mine is not the popular view. Most others believe in soul mates (I Don't) and will tell you to give it a try.

thats up to him. Only time will tell wait and see if he calls. You gave him your number so if he calls you know there is a chance if he doesnt it could mean he was only being nice and does not want to get back together. In that case let it go

Do you really regret letting him go? Or are you being desperate now as you are single again and need another man to be with you? Please judge your motives. Is he single? Find out all these before you commit to your ex

If he dumped you then he may play and then dump you. You have to be real sorry for what you did. Wait for his call and see what happens. Dont sleep with him and instead find out why and what happened that dampened this relationship. Play your cards safe to see if he out for revenge. take care
