I am trying to remember the name of a candy bar I used to eat when I was a kid. It was essentially a solid chocolate bar, thicker than a hershy bar but not as wide, and it had little 'holes' all throughout the inside...I think that the commercial made some reference to the holes saying it was lighter than air or something.

Anyway, curious to know if anyone can remember the name of it.

Nope. It's not any of those...I thought the Chocolite showed promise, but that's not it either. If I remember correctly the Charleston Chew was not solid chocolate (although it was fun to freeze and break up into small pieces). This was a solid bar, but when you bit into it you could see hundreds of little holes throughout the texture.

Could be Chocolite. It was like a nestle crunch with holes instead of rice.

Was it an aero bar?

It was chocolate, but seemed to be almost "foamy" because of the holes on the inside.

You can often get them at Irish specialty shops still.

sounds like an Aero bar - which are readily available throughout Canada - in milk, dark, mint, caramel and orange chocolate flavours..

made by Nestles in Canada

It was not Charleston Chew. It may have been called a 'Watchamacallit', which was made by Hershey's. The other thing it may have been called was 'Choco-Lite', which also sounds like your description.
