fine or jail

You can leave court with a very large fine to pay, and no drivers license. Or you may not leave court at all, but go to jail.

You can look forward to not only paying the fine, but also paying for any damage you did, and then having to get an SR 22 filing to ever have insurance in the future, which will be required to get your license back. You will be looking at high rates for 2 to 3 years.

Car can get impounded, can get sued for the cost, could lose your license, depending on the type of accident could get jail time. Pretty much anything can happen at court for that kind of offense. But its all good, driving without insurance is the worse kind of selfishness and deserves those things.

If you were in fault you can go to jail, or you will have to pay a fine. The other persons insurance company could probably sue you too.

Depends on where you live. The least that could happen, as some one has said, is a fine. The worst is losing your license, jail, or fine or even all three.
