A giant portion of home-made macaroni cheese with chips, followed by a pile of chocolate ice cream with double cream poured over it so that it freezes a bit.. If that doesn't pile a couple of pounds on your thighs, NOTHING will ! ! !

(P.S. - I wish I could join you ! ! !)

Hi!

Why not go to the health food store and find some nice snacks .... like puffed rice crackers or some fig bars or maybe an enery bar ... I think also you could go swimming if you could find a nice pool with peaceful, attractive surroundings ...that would balance out your body energies; gaining weight is not just eating, it is increasing your body energies to smooth out the entire situation so you remain strong and healthy ....if you can afford it, you might try a couple of weeks in a spa ... that would be fun...

...also at the health food stores they have mixtures of nuts and dry fruits that would be healthy for you .... or have some wheat crackers, avocado, and a nice drink of some sort (personally I like Pepsi, but you might not think that is good for you) ... and be sure you have a little drink of water now and then .... water is VERY good for you (spring & bottled waters ...)

As soon as the fruits of summer come in, you could make yourself some fruit salad, or just have the fruits whole with some good cheese and a tiny glass of wine ...

Make an extravagant drink
1 ginger ale, some candied ginger in syrup cut up fine, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream
2 a Brown Cow which is made of root beer or something of the sort, a dash of chocolate syrup, and some vanilla ice cream

or just crackers and cheese

Cheers!

Oooh if you really want to gain weight here we go: fudge, rice krispy treats, sausage gravy on biscuits, ice cream sandwiches, peanut butter pie, pizza, fried chicken with mashed potatoes & gravy, mac & cheese made with real butter & extra cheese, any regular full fat drink from Starbucks, bacon cheeseburger with fries & a BIG milkshake, cheesecake, pasta with meat sauce & garlic bread....and drink regular soda, you can add loads of calories every single day if you chug a lug non-diet soda. Oh yeah drink Vitamin D, full fat milk, too.

Don't forget to load up before bed; inactivity combined with loads of fat & calories should have you gaining weight in no time. You probably won't have fun trying to gain the weight, but go out to eat and order take out to mix it up to keep yourself interested in gaining.

Don't expect people to understand or be nice about it, either! We're so programmed to be thin by the media and fashion magazines that when an underweight person tries to gain, everyone freaks out. You should see the dirty looks I get when I let one of my kids eat a banana split...he's almost a vegetarian with his picky eating, and is underweight for his very TALL frame, but people still give me hell for letting him indulge. They can bite me then mind their own business!

Eat what you want and best luck to you!!

How about trying some dried cranberries, dried blueberries mixed with some hempseeds, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds; add a few chopped walnuts, and hey presto! you have a lovely 'good for you' snack. The nice thing is you s=also get your sugar hit for the day from the dried fruit

Get those flavored soy chips, plenty of protein, crunchyness, and they have barbecue and ranch flavors that aren't half bad. Or you can get some baby carrots and a container of hummus, you can nibble on this all day long and it's a fun food to play with too.
