I just went there and couldn't get any answers. All I could get was a bunch of ads trying to get me to part with my money.

When Answers in Genesis first appeared on the scene I believe it was a very helpful organization. It used sound logic and science to help Christians defend there faith against evolution.

Now it seems way to caught up in Creationist models and trying to prove that they are credible as compared to evolutionary models.

In my opinion, that is as good for Christianity as reading playboy, it is a waste of time and energy.

Don't get me wrong AIG has done some great things, but I think their focus is way off.

They went from exposing "Theological Jello" to trying to "Take back Astronomy, Geology, Anthropology, Biology, Etc."

Wrong end goal in my opinion.

Please be careful not to lump all Christians into one viewpoint.
There are Christians who believe in the literal 6 day creation model as told in Genesis and do not believe the theory of Evolution; they are called Young Earth Creationists.
There are Christians who believe in the creation model but think that a "day" as described in Genesis can mean several thousand years and they are not sure if Evolution is the tool that God used or not. They are called Old Earth Creationists.
And lastly there are Christians who believe that Genesis should be liberally translated and that perhaps God used Evolution as a tool to bring about humanity. This is called Theistic Evolution.

Answersingenesis STILL tries to claim that the second law of thermodynamics contradicts evolution. Obviously it doesn't but when they were challenged instead of admitting they were wrong they resorted to rhetoric and double speak to try and claim they were right. That is just ludicrous. That isn't proper science it's madness.

first, there are plenty of creationists who "do without" answersingenesis. second, answersingenesis is written for young people, primarily. It isn't Scientific American and does not pretend to be.

god bless
