Now don't get me wrong, I'm not about to go and read a bible, however, i really enjoyed your page, it was inspirational and insightfull, it was easy to read and understand, and a very gripping and heartfelt story, why can't all christians be this honest? and down to earth?
I'am a strong believer in the power of the mind, positive attitude, etc. many things have happened to me throughout my life to make me believe this. I have "prayed" for things, that have come to fruition, however I m not a christian, i think i put all my faith in myself and my abilities, not some higher being.
don't you think that the very act of prayer, could just help you to focus on your own problems, assert yourself, and perhaps by thinking differently, you can overcome them? what's your thoughts on this? you also know that statistics are statistics, not definative answers! peace!

Hi Anna, thanks for reading my blog! I was very nervous about posting my story and I am really glad you gave me such positive and encouraging feedback.

While it may be true that with prayer I could change my own state of mind, I do not think that "positive thought" would ever change the heart or mind of another person, in my case, my husband. In essence, "mind over matter" might apply personally, but not globally, does that make sense?

You are most welcome to come over to the blog and post your comments there as well, or drop me an email any time.

Thanks again!

What are you smoking, examining, eating. isn't the final ENT spouse a tree? And a fictional one at that. Atheists are impolite on the full, they have the reality, they found out that (the reality, and Evangelical rudeness.) by way of fact they was Christians or in spite of. Its like each and every of the Satanists was Baptists. Its the sacred duality of the Yin and Yang. The eternal arm wrestling of the cosmic Do-Dah. remember if somebody tells you that that's the reality, verify your wallet and run. I had a communication the different day with a chum of mine and he agreed with me that it became no longer the lack of religion in American existence, they looks lots. however the lack of the subculture and substance in faith, the lack of theology, and manners in its talk. (spelling too) Oh Christian do unlike Athesists by way of fact they by way of fact they lead them to look silly, and take an unchristian have exciting with doing so.

i think it doesn't make much difference which way you look at it.

There is some force that makes things go right. Maybe its god's hand at work, maybe its just the nature of things, or maybe it is something that comes from inside me.

Whichever way you look at it - it is worth making use of it. So prayer and trust is worthwhile.

It is the same with love - does it come from god, or from me, or from just all around? Does it matter? Love is a good thing lets encourage it...

I guess that's kind of the beginning of my religious philosophy. ;)
