Are you asking about front of the house against back of the house?

A full service restaurant requires the patience of Job and the need to be able to smile when someone demands that a meal be recooked 4 times even though the meal was prepared to the specifications the first time.

At a fast food restaurant there is a limited amount of change allowed to a menu item, often because it is precooked before it is even brought to the restaurant.

In a full service restaurant it is possible to order a meal and then to decide that it wasn't what you had thought it was and get a whole new meal free of charge. It is also possible to make the employee jump through hoops because they are there to make you happy enough to go out and spread the word about how enjoyable you meal was.

I can only speak from the fast food view point. As a manager of a unit in a nationally known restaurant chain when I hired an employee I told them that their job description was everything from the front door to the back door. That as a team member in my store they would learn every position, from cashier to each food handling position. That they would be responsible to clean everything at some point .... and I would never ask them to do something I didn't do myself. That included cleaning trash cans, baseboards, bathrooms. You learn how to run the drive-thru as well as cook the fries...you learn how to put away dry stock as well as freezer and how to rotate them. Everyone has their own position where they will excel, and feel the most comfortable. But everyone has to know how and be able to handle every position. From the Head manager to the youngest employee. Team work is the key to a great unit, and a great employment experience in the fast food industry.

The same differences. Fast food you pay before being served. Full service you pay after eating food that was served. A big difference I see with fast food is you don't get what you ordered the way you ordered. Then have a hassle trying to get it corrected.

II can distinguish a bordeaux from a pinot noir, explain in depth the cuisine that I serve to a very snotty crowd, and pull together extremely complex moves in my station while looking like I'm bored.
Doing fine dining takes at least two years to really learn and be decent. But it is always an ongoing learning process. And the pay is way better.

Burger King. The burgers are extra effective - i do no longer in basic terms advise in length, yet type as exact. The salads and dressings i are available the time of plenty extra effective perfect. As i've got have been given no longer have been given Taco Bell in uk to examine too, might I upload that if I certainly have been to replace KFC for Taco Bell, KFC might then win. That stated, I do choose the McDonald's breakfast menu.
