My face and back (and ears) are seriously very oily! I can wash it and 30 min. later it's an oil slick. I blot and 10 min. later it's back to being an oil slick! Awful! I also struggle w/ some acne but also reddish-flesh colored bumps all over my forhead (very small). A chiropractor told me they were allergies but I don't know. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions for very oily skin/the bumps?

First make sure your using the right products on your skin make sure their ph correct 5.5, and that they contain no mineral oil. Mineral oils creates a barrier on your skin , it has the wrong ph and will clog the pores and is the cause of many skin problems. Arbonne has some excellent product to address Acne called "clear advantage" this line also includes a dietary supplement to help with your skin. All Arbonne product have no mineral oil and are the correct PH . Arbonne also have a line that is self adjusting to your skin type they have an advanced delivery system that allows key elements and ingredients to target areas where they are needed. Check the product out on-line at www.arbonne.com There are many people who have problem skin had amazing results with these products. If your interested in getting them you can contact me at Arbonne consulant's Linda Sackett.
Anyway I think you should also look at what your eating no fried foods eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Take your chiropractors advise and get an allergy test done so will know what to avoid. Or you could try to find a good Homeopath in your area. Good Luck.

Try washing your face with just plain water without any cleansers or soaps. I find that when I use a cleanser my face becomes a greasy mess soon after.

May I also suggest you try washing your face with Aloe Vera.
It is very soothing and moisturizing. Buy the plant, cut off a piece, rinse it well, and squeeze out the gel like substance. Then after splashing your face with water, massage this gel on your face. Leave it on for 30 seconds and rinse it off with plenty of water( it might take a while to rinse it off). Use this instead of your regular face wash.
This stuff is wonderful.

Drink more water. It totally makes a difference for bumps and I don't know about the oily skin. Maybe a moisturizer would work. Sorry if it doesn't help. Chiropractors are not for skin, maybe you should try a dermatologist.

Yeah, see a dermatologist. They can prescribe a face wash with high levels of benzoil peroxide to help control the oils in the skin.

In the meantime, try using peroxide in the morning and at night when you wash your face. Just pour some on a cotton ball and it should help a little.

i had your problem when i was younger. but mine is around my cheek area.

make sure you buy cleanser thats for sensitive skin. and DONT wash your face with cleanser more than TWO TIMES a day. it will really irritates your skin. if its really oily, just wash it with water.

its better to see a doctor because any scar appear.

What do you wash your face with? You can use Noxema or Clearasil made for extra oily skin? Try that and see if that helps.
