I've been really stressed recentally. People dieing, my sister being pregnant, my dad hardly ever talks to his family, mom is paying so much attention to my 18 year old sister. People that I hang out with are being a little bit dificult. On my left hand I have a 14k white gold ring. I've been having a hard time getting it off. Can stress make your hands swell?

The swelling is most likely due to dehydration - you are dehydrated because you aren't drinking enough water and you are probably crying allot. Your body is retaining liquid to protect itself. Try drinking more water and take walks - if you have a dog this is a great excuse to walk it. Keep a journal of your feelings to let them flow-don't worry about spelling or grammar or even form if you just feel like writing 1 word again and again or doodling it's OK the act of writing will help alleviate some of the pressure you are feeling. Try to join a book club or art class something to challenge you that is just for you. As you focus on you will feel better. Pamper yourself too, take a long bath, brush your hair 100 strokes before bed so it is silk in the morning - whatever makes you feel cared for do it for yourself. Once you stat getting back on track you will feel much better and the swelling will dissipate. Good Luck!
