I don't mind the talkin. And I antagonize him to death which I'm sure contributes to it.

Yes-I have one. It's very strange...it makes this loud sound that seems like he's saying "merle". I call it "merling".

I have a Bengal, and she is extremely loud. Especially when she is really interested in toys or something. I believe it is common to this breed, I have spoken to many other Bengal owners and they have the same experience with theirs. It might have something to do with them being only a few generations out of the wild compared to other breeds. I recently had her spayed, it seems to have lessened since then, but still quite the talker.

i have 2 siamese mixes that talk even in their sleep. i talk back to them, though, so it encourages them. if you like the talking, definitely respond to them. my cats get really excited when they can get a response anytime they want, so now they talk ALOT! if you don't like the talking, well you might just be out of luck. i don't know how you wouldn't like that, though...my cats try to talk to people on the sidewalk through the window even. hysterical.

As long as you talk to him he´s gonna answer, that´s one of their ways of letting you know they´re around and that you´re part of the "tribe" They dont talk to people they dont like, your Lucky!!
