Ever since i became pregnant my skin has been super dry and flaky. I have been able to combat the majority of this with moisturizers & lotions but the top of my head still seems flaky. I already use a shampoo formulated for dry hair but it doesnt seem to be my hair as much as my scalp that is dry (and i cant seem to figure out how to put lotion on the top of my head lol). I have never had dandruff so i don't know if this is it, is it all hormonal? will dandruff shampoos help? has anyone else experienced this? It's not really itchy but it is noticably flaky, especially at my hairline.

head and shoulders will help, so will putting some baby oil on your scalp..some people sugest olive oil, or eggs...but it tends to be kinda messy...the dry scalp is normal during pregnancy, either your hair and scalp becomes oily or dry...take your vitamins because that will also help.

You might ask you Dr if there is an Omega oil you could take to supplement your diet. You can find them at the refrigerated section of the health food store. It goes down pretty easy with Orange Juice or just put it on a salad. Also a good lotion is helpful, yes it is ok to put it on your head, I put lotion in my hair when it feels dry.
