My ex grilfriend and I had plans before we broke up to go and see Jim Gaffigan tomorrow night (hes a famous comedian.) Anyway, she paid for the tickets (70 bucks a peice) and last week we hung out and i told her i still wanted to go. Today I am really having doubts on whether or not I want to go. The problem is I am in love with her and I am trying to get over her. If i go it will just make me feel crappy. Her sister and brother are coming too, but the problem is there is nobody she can find to buy the ticket. Should i tell her i dont want to go? Should i just not call her at all and dont go either? Or should i suck it up and go?

What you should do is break up with her and give her the $70 for your ticket. You don't want to go and don't want to screw her over. Do the right thing on both fronts.
PS-let her keep the ticket. Maybe it will soften the blow if she can give it to a friend or other family member for free.

Personally i would not go, you are right in saying it will make you feel worse and when you still see an ex you are not over it makes it twice as hard to move on. i dont know your reasons for your split so this may seem a little harsh but if she has the ticket it is up to her what to do with it if you do not wish to go you should not have to depending on who paid for the tickets could you pay give her the money back for it, if you paid anyway it is no loss for her any way, i say dont go and find someone new! hope this helps.

Just tell her you don't want to go. Tell her the last time you talked you thought you were okay with the whole breaking up thing, but now you're having a tough time with it. You should also probably offer to pay for the wasted ticket...you'll just have to suck up the loss in order not to torture yourself for an entire night!

I humbly suggest u should suck it and go, since u love her as u said, u ought to sacrifice everything, d idea of not enjoying her as u ought to have,tell her ur feelings and why u choose to go with her at all. she will understand u and love u more. don't fail to let her understand ur feeling as regard wasting d (70 bucks) ticket if u people fail to go.let her know ur reason as per her siblings coming to watch Jim Gaffigan. pls do go with her- but why ur in love with ur ex friend?

umm im dun udnerstand wta u saying... u said she paid for the tickets and u also say she cant find any1 to sell the tickets... but i think that since u love u, go wif her or ask her to go sumwhere else wif u since she cant buy the ticket...

Don't go with her.....explain how you feel and offer to pay for your ticket...paying for it is the only fair thing to do.
