My doctor wrote me a script for the birth control shot quite a few months back (I want to say about six) I never got it filled but still have the prescription sheet. Can I take this to my pharmacy and have it filled?

most states are one year.......a few are two.

Call your local Pharmacy, and stop wasting time asking here. Most people here give their opinions, or what they "think" it should be.

You can call the doctor, ask for them to call your pharmacy to verify the Rx, or drop it off at the pharmacy and have them verify with the Md. At the 6 month point they may or may not want you to be seen again, depending on why you are on them and your last pap.

Go and check, I don't think there is a sell by date on scripts, if he says he can't do it, then go back to the doctor, so he can write out a new one for you.

I think 6 months is too long. Just call your physician and have her phone in another one!

no-its high quality--she only wrote the date which you will fill up it--and it is your coverage co. that denied you an in the previous fill up--no longer likely the pharmacist. in case you pass someplace else your ins. co will deny it back...regrettably you need to attend till ultimately the 5th
