i can honestly say that i think many guys feel an intelligent woman is inferior to them because its scares them. guys like being smart and knowing more, and hate being proved wrong. a brainy girl might just set them off. however in no intention am i informing the "brainy girl" to stop doing what she is best at to try and attract a guy.
the guy will come one day don't worry. some guy will find you very attractive and feel your intelligence is one of your best qualities, along with others. all the other guys are jerks who are not good enough for you because they can't see all your worth.
again don't worry about this. guys are very weird sometimes. don't ever let yourself change for some guy. if your smart it will paid off in the future you will get the better jobs and paycheck.

Personally i adore women who exhibit an elevated intellect. They are far more stimulating since they can discuss something more appropriate than "american Idol" or some other "not-reality" TV show, the latest plot on a soap opera or why sports means anything .
Women who exhibit intelligence are also more sexually-experimental because they take seriously exploring sexual desire and fulfillment, thus being more sexually aggressive, which is a major turn-on for me, it keeps it fresh and we find new ways of heightening her pleasure and showing her that i consider an equal in EVERY way to myself.
Nothing stimulates me more than a woman with a brain who can exert herself while at the same time demonstrating her femininity. The women of CSI Miami, as well as the other CSI's are each awesome examples of what i consider highly desireable in a woman.

Yes, I would say as a rule they do. However, I would add that these men are probably insecure to begin with and that compounds those feelings. I personally find an intelligent woman very alluring. I am secure in my own intelligence and esteem though and other males may not be.

some men and some men don't, however excess use of sacasm s/b avoided by such women - its a big turnoff
note american actress sharon stone has an IQ off the charts - yet i doubt when she was in her prime or even now - most men would walk away from her

only the ones insecure in themselves and to b fair some women feel insecure in the presence of brainy women their issue not urs unless u use ur brain to let folks feel lesser than they are or u feel more important by putting them down brains are not all that is required compassion humor and down home dose of commom sense to enable folks to feel comfortable with u

Negative. Men with any degree of intelligence find a woman with high intellect very attractive. It's the stupid ones that are a turn off.

they dont like to compete. they want to be the superior one in the relationship. its called low self esteem.
