Okay, so I get Vonage 3 days ago. Now my phone dosen't dial out nor does it recieve calls! This is horrible! I don't know what is going on. Then I have this equipment I need to connect and that is not working because I don't understand the instructions! I don't know if my phone is disconnected or not...I have no dial tone and I can't get intouch with their wacky customer service.......any one had the same experience? What actions did you take?

yes, we all go thru it....

go to the vonage user forum....there you will find the best instructions....they will help you, step by step....just like here...

I'm on another VoIP forum....I use then IM to help ppl setting up there broadband phones, if I do it here...I get violations again from yahoo...my post are always too long, so I got 10 violations last week...

also....go to the dslreports.com....I'm on there too....

if ppl have trouble setting up there broadband....we all help each other, and don't get punished for it!!!

Another victum of VOIP, hopefully your not in a place that has power outages alot, if so I suggest you get a UPS (Uniterupted Power Supply) If you loose power your phone won't work. Good luck, there's alot of downfalls with VOIP for the average consumer. Hope the few pennies saved was worth it.

just plug a ethernet cable from your high speed modem into the internet port on the vonage router then plug another ethernet cable into your computer and into the 1st port on the new vonage router finally take the phone line and plug it into any one of your wall outlets now all outlets have phone service
