my parents would never admit to it. but they do favor my older brother. just because he is older. my parents are all talk. they say that they love us equily, but then they go and give him a car for christmas, and shove $25 in to a card for me. my parents are always treating me like dirt, and my brother like a king. but they LIE and say they don't have a favroite.

Each child has their own personality and traits. I can't imagine saying I had a favorite. Yes there are certain qualities I like about one child that the others may not have. Which makes the bond with your children incredible. I was an only child so my parents had no choice. But having 3 already and one more on the way its just amazing how much love you can have for your children all in different ways.

They are both special and I love them equally so, no, I don't have a favorite. Of course, some days I might like one better than the other depending on their mood or how we are planning to spend the day. My older son is athletic, out-going and fearless, so he's fun to do new things with, but he can be exhausting sometimes. My younger son is more laid-back and cautious, so he's the kid to chill out with and watch movies or go to a museum with but sometimes I wish he was more outgoing. But, again, I love them both and enjoy them both, just in different ways, sometimes.

Nothing should make one child more special then the other. Child should be treated equal. Im sure sometimes it seems like one is more special then the other but they should not be told this.

That's a tough one. I love my daughters equally but for very different reasons. My oldest (13) is a high honors student, is easy-going, and loves to spend time watching movies with us. She has a quick, sarcastic wit about her that makes her a lot of fun to be around.
My youngest (10) is very independant and likes playing with her cousins as opposed to watching movies or hanging out with Mom and Dad. But, she has a unique flare about her that is extremely vibrant and loving. She is a deeply caring person, yet makes us have to reprimand her on an almost constant basis due to her independant nature.
I would like to think that I don't favor one over the other, they are both individuals and I absolutely adore both of them for their differences.

I have two children and they are BOTH my favorite!! I could never in a million years say or think that one was a favorite. They are very different and that is what makes each one special!

I am a mom and have one child.. I would like more but not right now hence I am 14...i would NEVER, NEVER play favorites..... but I acome from a family of 11 kids.. My mother never never played favorites.. If she DID than..The non-favorite child would feel left out and grow up feeling that none loves him/her. It's the truth DONT PLAY FAVORITES!!!!! Bottom line!!! End of story!!

i know this sounds bad but i know people who has a favorite kid. i have 3 daughters of my own and i can not pick one to be my special one. i really don't know how some parents can pick one out to be their special one. all 3 of mine are different as day and night and i love and care for each one of them just as much as i do the others. they all are my favorite and special one for who they are. i don't think anyone should pick one out cause they are all yours, and that picking one out of the bunch will only cause trouble for the others cause they will know. and become jealous and be mean to the special one.

I have 5 children, including identical twin boys. I love each and every one of my children with the same "intensity" but love different things about them. I have a very loving and affectionate daughter, a really comical daughter, an extremely smart son, and adventurous son, and a laid back easy going son. They are all different and I love them each as much as the other.

I think most parents love both just as much. They just might love them for different reasons. I love my 7 year old son and 2 1/2 year old daughter just the same but there are different qualities that make them unique. I love and dislike different qualities that they have differently. I love my daughter because she is very independent, gorgeous, loving, silly, a mommy's girl. I love my son because he is determined, smart, silly, full of energy.
