I REALLY like this guy but he likes my best friend but she dosent like him what should i do?

Alright i really like this guy but he likes my friend and she just got a boyfriend and he dosent know should i tell him or would that make me rude or should i tell him that i like him but my best friend dosent feel the same way?
please i could really use some advice!
