"Religion" is the name we give to the various belief systems that say that there is a God or 'other creative power' in the universe, and as it is 'only a word' it's not really important. If you 'believe in God' then you are already on 'the right path' and I'll see you 'in Heaven' when you get there as long as you are a 'good person who does good things' and not an 'evil person' ...
Saying that, I would like you to at least do some 'studying' of the teachings of various different religions ... not just the 'basic' stuff of 'Christianity' but also of Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, etc. The 'Native Americans' have a wonderful panoply of 'spiritual teachings' ... and by 'studying all religions' you may find that you can go to a 'place' (church, synagogue, mosque, temple) to 'worship' God regularly, and get 'charged up' to go out in the world and do 'good things' a little better than before. WHERE you go is totally up to you ... but I'll see you in Heaven.

It depends on what you believe about God, whether or not you have a religion. Do you just believe that he exists? What do you believe that He has done? Do you believe that he love you? etc, etc.

Religion is the justice towards God. It is not enough to just believe in His existence for the Devil believes that in shutters in hell

i DON'T think religion is important. in the end everyone is exactly the same. and if someone is religous, they have to realize how closely related other religions are tto their own. religion is just another excuse for people to be different and argue of that difference.

If you truly believe in God you will try to find out what God is pleased with and displeased with.
