Christianity is belief in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, sent down to earth to live and die for us.... He hung on the cross til he died, and on the 3rd day rose again... as a sacrifice pure and holy... to be an atonement for our sins.

To be a christian, you need to confess (to God alone) that you are a sinner and cannot do this on your own anymore.. that you desire to change and have Jesus as your Savior. it does NOT require church attendance, (tho attending a true bible-only teaching church helps us build our faith and stay strong during temptations) nor is 'one church' the only correct church to attend.

it is all about the relationship you form with Christ, and how you live your life after you have chosen to follow Him.

The belief that Jesus Christ is the Savior sent by God for yourself.
That what was said of Him is the truth.
That you are a sinner and need a Savior, that Savior being Jesus.
The belief that the Bible is the truth inspired by God through the different ages to us.
For in the New Testament is the information about Jesus.

That Jesus is Lord.

Christianity = the state of being a Christian.

Christian = a person who exemplifies in his or her life the teachings of Christ.

Christ = Jesus of Nazareth, held by Christians to be the fulfillment of prophecies in the Old Testament regarding the coming of a Messiah.

Messiah = the promised and expected deliverer of the Jewish people.

Not get this, the Jewish people doesn't believe Jesus was the Messiah.

A Christian adopts the Bible as a Holy writing to tell them about God and the relationship He has with man. Jesus is the center of Christian faith. The Christian is a Christian because they trust God for what He says through Jesus the Christ.

That's basic Christianity.

Simple answer: It is the Body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the Head and all Baptized persons are the members. And the Body that confesses the Nicene Creed:

I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made.

Who, for us men for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.

And I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets.

And I believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Christianity is simpley a reality, not a religion. It Is beliving what God says. Not gazing on sacrements,or having rituals,or following a church quarterly. It is beliving what God has said in His Word the Bible.

Christianity means to live like Christ. Unfortunately many Christians have lost the meaning. Some have tried to make Christ like them instead of them like Christ.

A Christian without Christ is just "ian" which is nothing.
