If you're worried about budget, just eat 1/2 to 3/4 of the food you normally eat. That should save you some money and you should be able to lose some weight.

Research shows that the best way to lose weight is a combination of physical activity and proper nutrition. Weight loss and weight control are based on a calorie budget. Fat loss occurs when you burn off more calories than you eat. A proper, varied diet including whole grains, fruits and vegetables, along with moderate amounts of protein and fat will also help you to lose weight. Sweets and high fat foods should be eaten only occasionally.

my friend gave me this plan - she calls it her "jump start to summer" plan. I tried it and I kid you not I lost 2 pds in one day last week.
Morning
2 hard boiled eggs
1/2 grapefruit
Lunch
Salad greens of your choice with grilled chicken or fish, all the vegetables you want (tomato, carrot, etc) with Balsamic Vinegar (that's right NO OIL) - sprinkle with pepper helps for flavor
Snack
Other 1/2 of the grapefruit
Dinner
Grilled chicken or fish of your choice (NO OIL)
All the steamed vegetables you want
Drink 8 glasses of water through out the day.
Seems logical and I guarantee results. I just am doing it once a week to keep me on track to lose 10 pounds. Email me if it doesn't work for you. Good luck!!

Sugar free foods one day and fat free foods the next:
Celery
Carrots
Tuna (protein burns fat) from the can mixed in salad with fat free dressing.
Sugar free jello.
Bananas
Baked beans
Lean sandwich meats on sugar free bread and fat free cheese with fat free mayo and or mustard.
Baked or broiled chicken.
Green vegetables.
Shop around the grocery store and find snacks and foods that have no fat and no sugar in them. You have to rotate days with fat free and sugar free products so that the sugar doesn't store the fat in you're body. Watch out for salty foods (sodium) because that will put on a lot of water weight. I lost 18 pounds in a month by shopping smartly and rotating my days with fat free and sugar free products while staying active (body temperature above normal will melt fat from the body) like jumping up and down, walking, and anything else I had time for (while watching t.v.).
Who has time to count calories and who want's to?
Sincerely,
SuperDave
