How did you come to know the Lord? How did He reveal Himself to you? Please let me know!!!!

I've always felt protected by the Lord and wasn't able to explain it until I got older. The Lord just kept me from most harmful things...I had the opportunity to get involved in lots of sinful things but it was like there was a barrier there and I just couldn't go past it. I thank God for that today because I know he was my protector. That's why when the call came, I heard it and responded to him as a servant. I want to build Gods kingdom, sometimes I get caught up in my little life but I try to remind myself that I am here on a mission for the Lord. Sometimes that mission will not always be me living in comfort.
When I heard the call initially, I just opened myself to it, there was a peace and comfort that came over me and I knew I was making the right to decision.

I came to know the Lord when I was 9 yrs. old. He revealed Himself through the Holy Spirit although I didn't know that at the time. I have been the pastor of 6 churches, been a missionary, and am now continuing my education in Bible college.

We are all created by the almighty. He knew us before we were formed in our mother's womb. So deep in our souls there is a longing to be connected back with our Spiritual Father. I knew of the Lord since I was little, but I KNOW Him now. I was out one night drinking away, drunk as a skunk. Then, me and my best friend almost got into a fight. The next day I was so tired of my life and the way I was living. God at that time spoke to me and said it is time to come back. So, I started going to my co-workers church and God took the drinking(I was an alcoholic) away and cleaned me up. I know it had to be God because I loved to drink, go dancing, partying all night long, sleeping around, cursing any and everybody out, ready to fight all that for 13years and God removed it in less than a month. How awesome.

In the bible in the book of Romans 10:17 " Faith commeth by hearing ,hearing by the word of God ". In Hebrews 4:12 " For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper that any twoedged sword,piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart ". The only way to know the lord is to hear the word of God. I heard Gods word on FM radio a station called " Family Radio " heard all around the country. See if you can get it

I was raised in a Church, and when I was about 16, I went to an FCA rally with a friend at another high school. They did an invitation after a very spiritual rally (which was very different from our very traditional episcopalian church), and I felt God tugging at my heart to go up there and give my life to him, so I did. It almost felt like he was physically pulling me up out of my chair. He reveals Himself to me through prayer, and through my friends. I used to feel His hand on my shoulder, as if to say "well done, good and faithful servant." That was cool too.
I was baptized in the Jordan River last October at age 22. That was a really special moment.

I came to know him long after he knew me. He always worked in my life even when I was not paying attention to him. It was Aug. 13th 2003 when the woman I had been living with left me for another guy. I thought that we would have been married soon, but that is not what God had in store for me. That night I had no where else to turn and told God that if he couldn't help me through my trial then there was no hope for life. Little did I know how much love and compassion he had for me even though I had screwed up so bad before. I would love to write out the whole story in every small detail, but I am at work and cannot. But if you would like to know it bit by bit, just let me know. I would love to tell it.

He came to me when I was five or six in a little Baptist church that neighbors took me to once in a while.
I still almost cry when I think of it.....my heart was sooooo filled with love I thought it would burst!
I didn't walk with Him though until about eight years ago...then I started studying God's word and I couldn't be any happier or any more blessed!

When there was something very significant and seriously painful going on in my life, he told me how and when it was going to end- and it did. When I thought I was losing everything again, he sent me a sign that was undoubtedly from him. I'm not going to post it in here for all the non-believers to scoff at, but trust me, it was BIG! It was by faith that he revealed himself to me!

When I was 4 years old, I asked Jesus to come in my heart and save me from hell. I was baptized into a baptist church when I was 12, and just recently I joined a great church.
