when a guys best friend teases him about liking a girl but the guy never said anything about liking her does that mean he does like her or theyre just joking around

Oh the wonderful world of friends. usually, its just messing around and they know that they guy likes the girl and thats why they mess with him. Most of the time this happens because the friend is jealous that he doesnt have anyone and if he does then his friends girl is much better than his!
