Yes. Praise God

Matthew 17:5 - While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him
2 Peter 1:17 - For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

moses was also the "son of God" the only difference being a cpital S for son. Did the Centurion tell the writer "that's son with a capital S."

In my religion we believe him as the Messiah. But no the son of God.If you said that the son literally means "Son",I'd say,

Then David is the begotten son of god (2 Samuel 7:4)
Then Solomon is the son of god(1 Chronicles 22:10)
Then Adam is the son of god(Luke 3:38)
Then Israel is the son of god(Exodus 4:22)

This clearly shows that Son means servant or honoured servant.

Yes - Jesus is the son of God, and if Andrew W had ever read the Bible he would know why God gave his only son...

Yes I do!

If you believe that he was an honourable man you'll also have to take his word for it:

8Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us."

9Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.

No. It is just a folklore written by Paul.

We human beings need sons and daughters because we perish. God has no end. He needs no sons or daughters.

It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is. (Al-Quraan 19:35)

Prophet Jesus (PBUH) was a true and sinless prophet of God who preached the message of Unity of God. He never claimed to be the son of God. It is the generations that came after him that corrupted his message.

There's so much in the Bible that talks about Him. He is the Son of God! There's no doubt!
