Okay, I eat about 600-700 a day- A yogurt for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and usually a chicken sandwich with no mayo or cheese. I take all of my vitamins, and I play soccer or go to soccer practice 5 days a week, 2hrs each day. I even get some work out time on weekends, usually weight- lifting. My friends say that this is bad for me- why?!

It is bad for you. You need to be consuming at least 2000 calories a day since you are active. Also, you need to eat food from all the basic food groups. You can avoid really fatty foods and sweets if you would like. You are not taking in enough calories in which your body needs to sustain it's normal function throughout the day. It sounds like you are getting into an eating disorder routine with what you are doing.

That is horrible. You are not eating enough. Espeically by being active you should be eating more. The least amount of calories you need a day are 1200-1500. With your activity level you should probably eat about 1800 a day. Believe it or not but not eating enough can actually make you gain weight because your body won't have any fat to burn so it will start to burn your muscle. You also need to include healthy fats, protein, "good" carbs in your diet. Your breakfast is also not enough to get you going for the day. Try to eat about 5 small meals every 3-4 hours throughout the day. This will keep your metabolism and energy level up and help increase calorie burn.

Breakfast: 300 calories
Snack: 100 calories
Dinner: 400 calories
Snack: 200 calories
Supper: 500 calories

You should be consuming about double those calories.. or even more. Most people need about 2000 calories per day (depending on your BMI). Furthermore, since you're in sports you're burning even more off of the little calories that you're already eating. If you're worried about weight gain, just eat healthy foods that still contain calories (like bananas, carrots, etc). If you keep up with this diet you're not going to be able to play soccer or work out because of chronic fatigue and even fainting.. good luck!

600 to 700 calories a day isn't enough. Your burning off more then your consuming and thats not health. It's going to catch up to you.

Yep, it's bad. Your calorie intake is ridiculously low for someone participating in as much physical activity as you are. Knock it off - you know why it's bad - read up - and quit hurting yourself like that.
