I guess it's mainly due to impatience, but I just wanted to know if other people burn themselves eating hot stuff. I seem to always burn the roof of my mouth when eating microwaved pizza. Pisses me off.

Oh, yeah! For me the worst part is that once my mouth has been burned, it's hard to taste anything for a few days after the burn occurs. I am especially wary of food which has come out of the microwave oven. Part of what comes out might be just warm while another part in the same container can burn your mouth. If possible, I try to stir anything I have heated in the microwave (but, obviously, that would work with pizza).

Well I hate it because during the winter 2 years ago, I got hot apple cider from starbucks and I tried it too early and I burned my mouth so bad it hurt for a week! OMG. Yup. And the same thing happens to me with microwaved pizza. Also another bad thing is with the ramen noodles. Those hurt really bad with the chicken broth. I hate to burn my mouth!

Hey there. I often have the same problem, and it's no fun. In fact, last night I made homemade pizza from flat bread... and scathed part of the skin off the roof of my mouth. I also hate it when I've singed or burned my tongue eating really hot food. Keep pushing... take care.

Yes I hate it. Especially those diet dinners. Theyre on fire when popped out of the microwave. I know it says to wait a minute but Ill be so darn hungry there's no need for waiting. Same with soup, but I only cook that to 2:10 and not 3-4 min.
