Relax. Empty sockets take 3-4 weeks to completely close over and another 4-6 weeks for it to fill with bone on the inside. None of this is something to worry about. Your body takes care of everything. Only worry if you get worse or if you notice/smell any discharge coming from it. Just rinse after meals if you feel something has lodged in there. Nothing to it.

It varies, according to the individual. Depending upon how much root the tooth had. If the dentist did not suture the hole where the teeth were extracted, it could take up to a month.

It will take weeks. You will have to go back and get the stiches removed so it will be a while. I had my molar done and it still bothers me. Just don't drink through a straw or you'll get dry sockets!

if the gap has not closed within a week, go back to your dentist and let him know...this could end up serious if left untreated.
