Thats a tough question even for doctors which I am "not" with tests

All I can say from personnel experience is burning pain that radiates from back to front is most likely a pinched nerve in the spinal column. Real Stomach pain would be felt on the left hand side of your body under your heart, I know that sounds crazy but thats just the way were wire. Abdominal pain is usually the small intestintes.. ie stomach acks which cause you to sometimes vomit.

Stomach pain or bellyache may be caused due to a problem in the organs in the abdominal region. The main organs in the abdomen are the digestive system consisting of the stomach, small and large intestines, the liver, the gall bladder , pancreas, the appendix and the kidney. Minor problems like gastroenteritis can cause severe pain, while fatal illnesses like cancer may cause only mild pain. Sounds like a kidney stone esp since you said surge of pain. Kidney pain starts in back and comes around your side between ribs and hip and down towards pelvic area. ppl also sometimes have renal colic--thigh pain with this. Passing very little urine?? If so, sounds like kidney stone on the move. Go to doctor for xray/MRI. Calcium based stones will show up on xray and are most common, uric acid ones show up on MRI. A shot of Toradol works wonders as the pain comes from the ureters (tubes from kidneys to bladder) trying to break and grind down the stones. Usually severe pain, not many people can last it out for 3 days without seeing a dr. If little urine output, go to dr!! Sciatic pain starts in lower mid buttocks and feels like an intense bruise and shoots down the back of the leg like a lightening bolt.

Sounds like esophageal reflux possibly related to having a stomach ulcer. Stomach ulcers frequently cause back pain. The burning sounds like reflux. It can be very painful. I would first try some Mylanta liquid before eating and at bedtime and see if this helps. Cut down on cokes, coffee and anything with lots of acid. If this doesn't help you need to see your doctor.

Perhaps you should be tested for parasites. Go to see a doctor, that's your best bet.
