It doesn't, their ''theory'' is flawed, they would just say ''god did it.'' like a retard would.

Quite well, actually. In First Chronicles 1:19 the Bible tells of that during the life of Peleg, the earth was divided. This would have been after the languages were divided at the Tower of Babel and the people had separated from each other because they could not communicate. As each group reached a certain place, God caused the land mass to divide and the continents, with their respective languages were formed. The present day earthquakes serve to keep the earth in balance so it will turn on it's axis without wobbling. If there is a huge increase in weight on one side of the earth due to more people or large rainfall or whatever, the plates shift to offset the balance so the earth remains in balance. You have to balance your tires to keep them from wobbling, so it's the same thing with the tectonic plates.
An interesting point is that First Chronicles was written before scientists had ever thought about Pangea. The Bible gave the answer before there was even a question. Isn't that just like God?

For plate tectonics and Pangea to fit into creationist theory, either the continents would have had to drift immediately after the flood to their current positions, or have been drifting a mile a year since Earth was created.
If the continents were drifting a mile a year, we'd have been extinct from the earthquakes millenia ago.

properly, youthful Earth creationists certainly _do_ reject plate tectonics alongside with evolution and a dozen different fields of technology. working example, in accordance to Ken Ham (director of the "creation Museum" in Kentucky), the Grand Canyon become created via the biblical flood and not via tens of millions of years of geological pastime, the upward thrust and descend of land a lot, erosion and sedimentation. although, old Earth creationists like the proponents of sensible layout unmarried out the theory of Evolution using fact they think of they are able to flee with it. huge self-self assurance themes stemming from the theory that human beings are pertaining to to apes additionally seem particularly straightforward in the two factions, that are yet another explanation for their habit.

Theory...wow thanks for the compliment! Neither one in my opinion can even be considered a theory.
Anyhow, I digress. A Creationist would have no problem with that.
I guess pangaea & the rest are observable, therefore provable. Being as such, it helps to explain things to me. The study of this is actually very exciting! Good question.

The earth was originally watered from within the earth and when it rained the increase in pressure shifted the plates. Cusing valleys and riftfts that water fell or flowed into called oceans.

Noah's flood (It's not just a bible story). Earth was covered with water, and the chasm's of the great deep opened up. I think all "hell" broke loose down there when the earth was flooded!
