No birds left. All the other birds flew away at the sound of the gunshot.

Either that or he shot pics of them with a camera - in which case none of them moved and there are still 10 in the tree.

Well he saw 10 but shot 3. So theres still 10 that he saw which were left, although it isn't sure whether the other 3 died or not.

there are no birds on the tree bcoz of the gun sound all the birds will flew away..so there are none left on the tree...
