Why would they be embarrassed? It's religion, and the fact they believe there exists a planet that scientists don't know about isn't that big of a deal. It's kind of an interesting idea and there certainly isn't any evidence to disprove it.

Of course not, why? Kolob is only spoken of in The Pearl of Great Price, we don't know much about it other than what the scriptures say, so what's the big deal? Is it so impossible to think there may be a star out there that God created that is the "governing" star? We believe there are worlds out there, not just our world...so it makes sense to me that there are many other planets, stars, people, everything...I don't think God is limited to just "us".
