I just read this answer to a question about god maybe being a magician or an alien:

"You accept all these options as possibilities?

He said who He was. Why don't you believe?"

Is that good enough for you?

You really never questioned it? If I said I was sent by god to save you would you just take me on my word?

The problem is that there have been alot of people who have claimed to be things they are not. Unfortunately, if you don't believe in the resurrection, then you don't believe all the words. It kinda goes hand in hand.

If your question is just do we believe anything people tell us? No, absolutely not. Or at least I don't.

I believe that God is who he says he is because of my personal relationship with him, and the way he has worked in my life, and the things I have seen done by him.

Everyone has their own faith based on their own relationship with God, and their own reasons.

I believe in Jesus.
I believe what the scripture says of Him.
I believe the scripture was written by God, through inspiration.

I BELIEVE!

You can do whatever you want.

If you are a Christian then you believe what the Lord tells you and he did say who he was. Read the Bible.

You do not believe because you are not His. They hear His voice, and He knows them, and they follow Him; and He gives eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of His hand.
