There is abosolutely no proof of an existance of Kolab or any of the civilizations mentioned in the book of mormon.
Supposedly the setting for the book is Central America. the book mentions elephants, zebras, iron coins etc. None of these ever existed in central america. Iron does not exist in this area.
Wouldnt an entire civilization of people have left behind at least one piece of evidence that they existed
On the other hand, nearly every item, plant, animal, and civilization mentioned in the Bible has been confirmed.
This answer is neither meant to be religious or anti-religious, but if I were to wrap my arms around a religion, I would go for the one that has some level of authenticity, historically and archeolocically

Remember how I talked about how you need to learn "spiritual geometry" before diving into "spiritual calculus" I still think that book I suggested is the best place to start - but another good read is Exodus 28 and 29...if you don't have access to a Bible, you can read it online here: http://scriptures.lds.org/en/ex/28/41#41

Who is Xenu? What is "Kolab"? I believe you mean Kolob.

I am Mormon and have never been taught anything about "Xenu"... I am under the impression that is a Scientology belief...
