They can win. They have the one thing we lack, the will to fight and the people backing them. Our PC rhetoric and Liberal views have clouded their thinking, but they will step up again. The Israeli's have one of the most combat proven forces in the world. They are a country who can't afford to back down since all of the Muslim world wants them dead. They are a small country and too many Adolf's out there still believe they are inferior. Yet this little country has taken F-16's and modified them and mastered them to where they have easily taken down Soviet MiG's. They have the same will to live we had a long time ago.

Historically the Israelis have successfully defended themselves against combined Arab forces. Today the Israelis have tactical nuclear weapons (no Arab countries do) and much more advanced weaponry thanks to trade agreements with the United States. As such, Israel has a far better capability than it did.

Hostile countries are abound, but as far as Arab countries you can count all of them except Egypt and Jordan, both of whom signed peace treaties with Israel. Iraq may be considered non-hostile considering the United States is so entrenched in Iraqi policy, but I've not seen a declaration of peace from the new Iraqi government with regard to Israel.

Yes, if history has proven anything. All arab countries except for Jordan and Egypt. Iran and Syria seem to be the most hostile at the moment.

Let me start with the 2nd question: Iran, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, the PA and the absolute monarchies in the Arabic Peninsula. The most likely to maybe attack Israel is Iran. Israel has the military might to take Iran, or to take Syria & Lebanon combined, or to take Sudan, Yemen and the PA combined, and also to take all the Arabic absolute monarchies combined. So I don't see any particular reason to worry too much (with sympathy) about Israel.

There are elements in many countries that are hostile to Israel. Egypt, Iran and Turkey would havea problem with them. Israel has a huge military and a massive arms industry. Plus, they're supported openly by the U.S and U.K. Still, if Vietnam proved anything...

israel won the arab-israeli war fought on 1948-49...one tiny state against the combined forces of egypt, transjordan, syria, lebanon, and iran....right now, israel is believed to have the most advanced military equipment in the region- US supplied and homegrown...they will win the war not because they're the chosen people whatsoever but because they have the right stuff and influence.

yesterday is not like today and tomorrow will not be like today and who knows.
NOW things are completely changed, and there is now a new balance of power. As everybody knows that Israel was badly defeated in front of a small faction of Hizb-ALLAH,and no body can deny that.NOW,Israel has no choice except to get the hell out of there, the 3.5 million of Jews can not face 500million of red eyes MUSLIMS,the Iraq war shall not end and stop and soon this bloody war will spread out and it will be out of control,so it would be the right time to settle down all the middle east problems,NOW as an American and as a pro-Israel,I think we should save Israel and we should place them in Nevada desert or Alaska or any where else,

They were able to once, I guess its possible again. But I doubt it, the first time 5 Arab nations attacked them at once but not together, they all did there own thing, if they got together and cooperated I would have to say, no they (Isreal) couldn't win.

Well, now they may have the support of Jordan and Egypt, so their military strength is even greater.

Read more about their past wars. They seemed to have no problems kicking their ***es before. Unlike the PC way we fight. They actually fight to win.
