The statement "For a Christian, no act is truly evil" is absolutely false and a person who makes such a statement will not be forgiven because they do not feel sorry for what they have done.
There are indeed acts that are truly evil. But at the same time, God will forgive anyone who is truly sorry and repentent of any evil act.

Tere is a side note to be made:
St. Paul declared that all sins would be forgiven, even if there was knowledge of their wrongness beforehand.
St Francis of Assisi, I believe it was he, took the tack that no sin could be forgiven if there was any glimpse of guilt before the act was committed.
Let me ask you,
is anything ever forgiveable?
Are we going to go by the words of men, who were sainted for political reasons by a pope in a time when faith needed a boost or some such thing?
Or are we going to do the right thing, point blank?

Yes, all sins are forgiven. In the Catholic Religion, elementary aged school children undergo the Chatechism and learn their prayers and how to participate in the sacraments. God's love and forgiveness purifies your soul during the sacrament of Penance. You go to confess your sins to a priest. You may keep your face hidden. You pray for forgiveness and ask his blessing then you tell him what you did. God is all forgiving. The priest will then absolve you from your sins and give you penance. You say prayers, like the Hail Mary, The Lord's Prayer, and the Rosary. You can go to the priest once a week. Preferably on Saturday, because then you can fast and remain purified in order to go to Mass on Sunday to celebrate the sacrament of the Eucharist and eat the body of Christ and drink His blood.

Not all "evil" acts are always evil. There is a time and a place for everything. Contrary to popular opinion, the 10 commandments do not read "you shall not kill", but "you shall not murder". It's a thin line when speaking of something of this magnitude, but there are some scenarios where something like this would be justified..

Christ taught peace, yet no longer the peace you recognize. Peace is being and doing what God needs of you. it isn't the absence of exact violence. He did no longer coach "tolerance" as that's getting used on the instant. The be conscious tolerance refers to how far from the perfect something would properly be and nonetheless be suited. Christ taught that there is purely one thank you to heaven. additionally, attending to heaven is the only significant element - this is the purpose. era. that would not sound "tolerant" to me. i'm no longer in choose of nuking human beings using fact they'd wipe out our funds, although, for years I did carry a handgun and can have shot every person threatening me or yet another individual with violence and have confidence that nuking a rustic to keep away from them from killing somebody else is the same difficulty. Nuking Japan saved extra lives than it fee.

The question should be, "Would a Christian nuke a few million people?"
F=S->W faith in Jesus (that means trusting him) gives you salvation, which leads to GOOD WORKS.
Here are a few phrases from the Bible to support my view:
-faith, without works is dead. Faith is seen through works.
-you will know them by their fruit.
-whoever says he is born of God & hates his brother is a liar.
-We are created in Christ Jesus to do good works.
Question-Could a Christian be forgiven if they sinned at all? Could anyone be forgiven if they sinned at all?
Sin= guilty before God

Well, Bush is headin' in that direction and the way its going, I don't think the American people will forgive him for much longer. The Iraqi's would need a very big heart and a short memory to forgive him. I guess he's on his way out...I don't know if Jesus will forgive him...but I can't.

Up to God, he knows your intentions and only He can forgive you. I mean, if you did it on accedent (i don't know how, lol) then i can see it being forgiven much easier, but if you did it on purpose, then you might go to hell for a couple thousand years then be able to go to heaven after you have been punished for you act.

According to the bible, as long as you confess your sins, you will be forgiven for any wrong doing you have done, the only thing with this situation is that mankind will view what you have done as being "unforgivable" and say you would not be saved. Really, it would be up to god only.
