In total, 31 states allow Sunday liquor sales in some form. Sunday sales put spirits on a level playing field with beer — currently sold on Sunday in 48 states — and wine, currently sold on Sundays in 45 states.

Some states have laws differentiating by county. In Illinois, for instance, some counties sell no alcohol, beer, or wine at all whereas others will after a certain time.

in the UK you can buy alcohol on a Sunday but not until 12MD i think this is a lot of rubbish cos sometimes i do my shopping for the week early on a Sunday and have to go out again later to buy in beer, i think it is a very outrageous and outdated tradition

I know you can buy it in Ohio. Most places only sell wine or beer on Sunday, but there is a special license you can get to sell the hard stuff.

You have places in the U.S. where you cannot but alcohol on sunday??!!
You declare war on countries in the name of Freedom but you can't buy a bottle of wine on sunday. I just don't get it.

You can buy beer in Michigan on Sundays, but not before noon.

I'm from upstate, NY and it starts at 8am. Used to be 1pm. Go figure. Is church really that bad ?? lol.

well, here in CA you can be alcohol when ever and i just like that sooo much!
