The Christians have nothing to do with these events. These occur during the Tribulation period when the Antichrist allows a Third Temple to be built on the Dome of the Rock to placate both Jews and Arabs. The Jews are taught from the OT in which manner to perform sacrifices unto God for the remission of their sins (which they no longer have to do, but that's another story). The Church (Christians who were alive at the time of the Rapture) and the saints that had already died before the Rapture will have already been taken out of this world. The only other Christians that will be alive during the period that you describe will be the 144,000 Jewish converts evangelizing to the world, and those that they convert. If the Christians of that era are smart, they'll do everything they can to make sure their souls are right with God and are ready to meet Him, for the Antichrist will do everything in his power to hunt them down and kill them for their insubordination to his will.

There is a group called the 'Temple Mount Faithful' who are, so they say, constructing, manufacturing and gathering together all the things necessary to re-institute the Temple Service once the Temple is rebuilt. There are some (maybe even most) among them that advocate a proactive approach to rebuilding the Temple. They are, however, considered a fringe group and not widely supported precisely because of the reason you give above....trying to rebuild the Temple in the current political climate would mean a large-scale war (not that the arabs need much of an excuse to launch a war against Israel).
Most Jews, at least of those who hope and pray daily for the rebuilding of the Temple, believe that when the time comes for the Temple to be rebuilt and the sacrificial service to be re-instituted, it will be at a time when, as prophesized, the nations of the world will cling to and beg the Jews to do so. At such a time, there will be no contention when the Temple Mount is transformed to its original purpose.
This future time is one which is beyond most imaginings. However, it is a time worth waiting for.

Too many unanswered questions.
Are ALL the jews doing this or just a few? Do you know any personally? which temple are they rebuilding? Almost all the arabs are muslim so why would they have a war with themselves? War between arabs and jews is 2000 year old news so whats new?
methinks you have to much time on your hands - or something else in your hands.

In a manner they nonetheless do. For meat to be kosher, the animal must be ritually slaughtered, drained of its blood, and inspected for blemishes in a similar way it could have been arranged for sacrifice. The Jewish house is the hot Temple, and the diningroom table is the altar. whilst the Temple become destroyed, The Rabbis that wrote the Talmud mentioned that repentance, righteousness (i.e. in this context, giving to the undesirable), and prayer might replace sacrifices. some Orthodox centers might incorporate analyzing passages approximately animal sacrifices, yet i don't be attentive to the biggest factors approximately that. So at the same time as the prepare isn't a similar, the custom is honoured in a clean type.

They believe they will be standing in heaven when the war breaks out. The Jew believe they will be in heaven while the Christians stay on earth and parish for following a false profit. The Muslims believe they will win a global holy war and receive, I forgot how many virgins, from their God.
Meanwhile back at the hall of justice.....

Personally, I think it's horrifying that Jews would go right back to their old ways.
All this bloodshed in the name of who has the 'correct' God, is it all really worth it?
Why don't we all just give it all up with love and reason and live in peace?
Christians would be on Jew's side, even though 'Jesus' was supposed to be man's final blood sacrifice, a human sacrifice finally appeased God, I gather.
I think it's disgusting and turns the clock back thousands of years, I thought we were beyond that disgusting, vile barbarism as a human race.....
Just when you thought the Jews were reasonable.
Guess I was wrong.

Where do we stand? Well, we really don't believe that the Israelis are killing goats, nor do we think they are stupid enough to attack their arab neighbours, arab nations that outnumber and outgun them. As for the muslims, we can't figure out why they are suicide bombing each other. Maybe if we knew, we could find a compromize and get out of a war we don't want to be in, and we don't know why we are in. Yes, I will give you that G W Bush is evil.

It's all necessary, my friend. After the Christians are raptured off the planet, the Jews will resume their sacrifices and such - at least that's what the majority of evangelical prophecy teachers believe the bible says.
So to me, it's a sign that the rapture is imminent.
