Depending on the condition of the soul when it gets there?
If the soul is full of Love, Divine Fire refining one into pure spirit?
Or if the soul is full of Hate, Divine (Hell) Fire burning them up?

Heaven and Hell don't exist. Souls are myth. Love and hate are emotions, not substances.

It makes no sense to conjecture about superstitions because anything you make up is equally false.

Heaven and Hell are not the same "place". Hell was created for Satan and his angels, but through sin, man now has a choice. Those who serve God and accept Jesus as their savior will live with God forever. Those who continue to ignore or reject Him will find a place in hell with Satan and burn for all eternity. If you would read the Bible there would be no question about this. It is plainly written and easily understood. Either you're going up or you're going down-deal with it.

Heaven and Hell are the same in the sense both are temporary places in the material world. Matter is created and that which is created is also destroyed. The spirit soul is eternal and the temporary situation of hell or heaven or like a good or bad dream. When one comes to one's original constitutional postion of realising one's spiritual identity in relationship with the Lord in the eternal spiritual world, the temporary situation of hell or matter is just a dream.

In a dream one may be dreaming that a bomb is being thrown on him or a snake is biting him. In fear, he may shout vey loudy due to experiencing the bomb or snake, but when he awakens from the sleep, he sees no bomb or snake.
One may in a dream enjoy eating a ice cream, but when he awakens there is no ice cream.

Similarly, for the eternal spirit soul, the experience of hell or heaven is same unrealistic like the dream of bomb or snake.
When the spirit soul reaches the eternal spirit soul, the flickering experiences of hell or heaven is just like a bad or good dream like bomb or snake.

Heaven and hell are the creations from the fertile imagination of man-- just as satan and angels are. The religious leaders created these , describing the former as a place of all things bright and beautiful if you behaved properly, and if you stray away , there is the fiery hell with all repulsive features. They did it so that the people could be frightened to follow the commandments of their respective religions. .., each religion giving its own description of hell and heaven and laying down rules and laws .. so what happens to animals, birds and insects? is there a heaven or hell for each separate species? I like what the poet Milton said : ''the mind in its own place can make hellor heaven!"

Both heaven and hell are within us. In the mind all misery exists and in the same mind we feel happiness also. The distressing thoughts cause misery and elevating thoughts make you happy. I don't consider hell or heaven as a physical feature. nagarajan.

Heaven is outside of time (in Eternity). God created time and is not subject to it. He dwells in eternity ( Isaiah 57:15 " For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones ").

When people say, 'Heaven and Hell are right here on earth', they say it to coin a phrase, not knowing that they're close to being half-right. We choose Heaven or Hell right here on earth, by accepting or rejecting God's eternal payment for our sins. Literal Heaven is nowhere near here ( though we can once again communicate with Heaven through the Holy Spirit), but Hell is right under our feet ( give or take about 4,000 miles if I recall correctly). Jesus taught more about Hell and the things to avoid as to not end up there than anything else. I know many may diagree with, but slow investigation of the Gospels and epistles will show this.

Hell is in the 'heart of the earth' (Matthew 12:40 " For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whales belly: so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth" ). Jesus went to Hell for us to satisfy the 'eternal death' aspect of Adam's sin that we all contracted.

I hope this helps to point you in the right direction. If you have never recieved Christ in the pardon of your sins, you might want to think, seriously about it. With Christ you can end up in eternity with God. Without Christ, you will end up in eternal damnation, paying the price for your 'own' sins. Christ's payment is free, how much will you have to pay to get out of a place that has only one way out. those in Hell will come out one time, to find out why they are in there. This is not a reversal of sentence, but a change of location to the second death ( Revelation 20:10-15 " And the devil that decieved them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

And I saw a Great White Throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away; and there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up thhe dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire"

Heaven and Hell are one and the same created in our minds - and all religious scriptures are just extensions of these creations..

Heaven is found in true -selfless - unattached love
Hell is everything else

A mother finds true love when her love to her child is selfless - but it is difficult to show the same love to another child. When a mother sees all children as her own and shares the same selfless love then she has found heaven

The moment she attaches value and strings to the love - like:
-I love my son, he is going to be great one day
or I love my son, he will bring me wealth / joy
or my son is much better than my sisters son etc...
She is attached and her love is marred - now she is not seeing another child with love and nor her own child with selfless love
-This moment is pathway to hell
-Love and service in the name of God and propagation (these are strings attached - one is seeking a goal here too) of religion is also not the right path. The right path is selfless love with no strings attached.... Just pure love..

We dont need to define God and Devil and serious crimes and sufferings or extreme joy and happiness to create a picture of heaven and hell

These are just extreme form of story telling for humans to understand the simple philosphies of life.

Why does a father shout at his child? Because practise has told that father that the child will not listen until the voice is raised. If the child understood on its own - the father need not even remind. Sometimes the father has to just look at the child and the work gets done. Sometimes it has to mentioned once, twice or more... finally resort to yelling and spanking and punishment

That is how life if... If we understand that we need to love, we need to share.. no one needs to remind us and so on...
the extreme extent being the promise of heaven and the threat of hell.

A) Since "place" is all too often equated with simply location and

B) Since both heaven and hell are states of being, NOT locations, it therefore follows that

C) your query is a non-sequitur. But,

D) your description of the "state of being" is very likely correct.

What a dualistic idea...it's food for thought.
For the truth about hell, see The Holy Bible, Matthew 10:28

I don't think Heaven and Hell can be the same place. But I have thought it interesting that fire is used to represent both God and the Devil.

Right now they are both in your hands.

There is no Divine Hell.

Paul wrote, everything you do should be to Honor God.
