Taskmanager WONT WORK HELP!?

Hi,
my Taskmanager will not open when i type in Run: 'Taskmgr' OR Ctrl, Alt and DEL - it then tells me another program is using the file.. what can i do?!

If it's because a program crashed, I can help. Otherwise, I don't think so.

There is a way to have an emergency logoff in these situations if you need it (For example: A full screen game crashed). You need to go to the users control panel and change the way you log on to the old Windows 2000 way (no welcome screen). Then, when you have a program crash again, press Ctrl-Alt-Del, and a console will come up that hides all other programs, and you can choose to log out if neccessary
