Well, I don't believe any of the world's many creation stories. People just made them up to try and give answers to questions they didn't understand. It boggles my mind that people who are educated still profess to believe in stories that were invented by the ignorance of superstitious storytellers and manipulators. Think about it. The people who were out there making up the rules knew it was hogwash (and they broke every one of their own rules). They used religion to scare the poor people into believing there was a big powerful thing out there that would do horrible things to you if you weren't good and 'faithful.' But you can'tconvince any of these bible thumpers of that. No way Jose.

I'll try to help you here-
It is believed that:
In the beginning of time man and women were perfect and able to reproduce with one another. Incest was not a bad thing. It was the only way to procreate. We were a pure race without any toxin, diseases to cause the issues that incest causes today. That is why incest is not acceptable today (well actually it is legal for relatives 3rd cousin or beyond.) It is unacceptable today because of all the birth defects, mental issues that it causes.
As time goes by and more and more generations are born we become further from are pure and natural point of creation. Its also not necessary now.
The reason we speak different languages are found in the Bible. It began at the Tower of Babel. Man was trying to build a temple to heaven to supersede God. So God divided them and confused their tongue so they were unable to work together. Splitting them to all areas of the earth.
Once the split occurred and people moved to different areas - I believe that is when the different "races" began.
Also remember that a day to God is a thousand years to us.
So he created animals and that was like a thousand years- or more- plenty of time for dinosaurs.
Caveman- same concept. Nobody said Adam and Eve weren't cave men. That absolutely could have happened after leaving the garden of Eden. Today we draw pictures of them as standing erect and being what society considers beautiful and ideal. Just because somebody has drawn them this way doesn't mean that they didn't look a little different.
Or perhaps cavemen are the only fossils we have found and just maybe we haven't discovered all there is to be found in the past. They could be descendants of Adam and Eve.
What we know today is not all that there is to know about the past, present, or future.

ive heard of research being conducted in europe where they traced the ancestry of all native europeans to 4 ancient women
and theres also the idea of a common ancestor - unless evolution turns out untrue (which i doubt- coz its pretty obvious within species)
lol this is funny.
did you know that a black couple can have sex and produce white offspring? but a white couple cant? well the trait is polygenic and it depends on how "black" the couple is coz we tend to see things in black and white- most black people will actually have white genes- i dont know why you raised up the question of "white men and women"
where the hell did you get that idea from? probably because ur from the west and you see things according to your norms, and probably you've been taught that way.
its just like what the Quran says about when you ask these people: "why dont you follow what was revealed to you, they say "we follow what our fathers taught us (or followed)""
by the way- the word adam in arabic means black, and so does Hawa (eve), i read a theory on it- its not something essential in my beliefs- you can try google searching "adam black" etc and find an article... but muslims wouldnt care if that were so or not, its not important. Hebrew and aramaic are also semetic languages and adam would probably mean the same thing in those languages too.
Please note that i havent given an islamic viewpoint to answer your question. I havent read up on that area or studied it anywhere and it differs with the christian views in several areas.

What you read in a book seems to you like it all happened in the span of a few days, weeks or years. But real life takes a lot longer then what you put in a story. So, read between the lines and see the real time span.
Adam lived almost a thousand years altogether. He was a prime species of a man and so was his wife. Guess how many kids you could produce in a thousand years if you felt like you were no more than thirty years old all the time?
Adam was 130 years old before Seth was born (that is, after Cain had killed Abel) --and all the other sons and daughters he had were not listed in the chronology.
Gen. 5: 3-8 "When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth.
After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
Altogether, Adam lived 930 years, and then he died.
When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father of Enosh. And after he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters.
Altogether, Seth lived 912 years, and then he died."

God's definition of seven days is not the same as ours. So to God, a day could be 10,000 years. So it is possible that God created all the animals, and some died off before he created Adam and Eve, including Dinosaurs. Adam and Eve's children reproducing with each other is not a sin. God told them "to be fruitful and multiply." Also, it was too early for inbreeding to become a problem. Perhaps some of Adam and Eve's decendents went and became cavemen. Although we have no way of knowing what "race" Adam and eve are, my theory is that different races happened because of adaptation: Black people have more melanin in their skin because they need to withstand the sun more. Different languages come from the Tower of Babel. People decided to build a tower to heaven, and God gave them all different languages so that they couldn't (this story is in Genesis).

The story of Adam and Eve has a deeper meaning attached to it. To contest whether the story is true or not..i am no expert. But if we are siblings, thats probably the reason why we humans attach so much importance to brotherhood and the spirit of togetherness even among strangers. As for the diffrent races and colors and languages, i guess as the population grew, plp had to seek other places to live and soon developed their own culture and language and their body eventually adapted to the weather in the place that they lived.
I am no expert, but story like adam and eve has been for ages and they are still so dominant in our lives. there must be some reason for the strong exeistense and we must respect the story. Just my opinion

Why do you think this idea is preposterous? Extrapolate the evolutionary model backwards to the beginnings of the human race (or its predecessors). At some point in the distant past there were the original progenitors...1 male and 1 female.
Now...you may want to question the 6000 year biblical timeframe, and that's a fair question...however, to deny this aspect of the bible is to deny evolution as well. Neither the bible, nor evolutionary theory predicts that any species developed or appeared with a large initial population.

Well skin tone or color is a function of both the environment and breding i.e. in a culture people may like or choose mates on based on certain physical characteristics. In either creation or evolution the human genome can account for a wide range of diversity. There are other significant problems with the story of Adam, Eve, Cain and Able though.

It all happened much as you describe but you have to have the faith to believe it. The colors of people began to show at the time of Noah as near as we can see from the Bible, and the languages were supernaturally applied to humans at the Tower of Babel. According to the Bible cavemen were a digression from original humans as a result of sin, and dinosaurs existed alongside humans the same as the rest of the animals. But you have it pretty close. Don't forget though that humans lived about 10 times longer than they do today and that would result in much bigger families then now.
