Seeing as someone just mentioned it, thought i'd ask... who gives the thumbs up or down when you answer a question. And how do you do it??

I just gave everyone that answered this question the thumbs down. All you have to do is click on the thumb up or down. If you click on the thumb down it closes the window so you can no longer read what the other person has answered. It is rather fun to do this when you don't like an answer or to high rate a good answer, as there are a lot of stupid answers here at times. But is is not true that you need lots of points to do it, I've always voted thumbs up and down since the beginnning. So anyone can do it even without answering a question. But you can only vote a person once and you can't vote yourself.

Any user can give the thumb up or down to an answer indicating their opinion. You just click on the thumb pic.

Next to peoples answers, you have 2 small pictures (to the right of the answer).. they're 2 thumbs..
Click the left thumb for thumbs up, click the right thumb for thumbs down.
Remember, you can't give yourself a thumb rating, only other peoples.
And yes it depends on your points.. you have -60 something points (which is below level 1).. gain some points to earn privelleges.

You need to be on at least level 2 to rate answers with a thumbs up or down. To rate, just click on the relevant thumb.

Anyone in Level 2 can vote for thumbs up or down. I do it all the time.

Is there some restriction on the amount of thumbs up down you can give according to the level that you are on?

i give them when i think i see a good answer something i see some people been just mean so i give them thumbs down.
So my decision is not base on true or false but how nice or rude they are.
