No. Conflict will continue as long as an outside group exists.

If religion isn't an issue - there is always nationality or race. Not to mention gender, age, neighborhood, etc, etc.

Getting rid of all the groups is not the answer - only the identification with them. Just because a group can be differentiated - does not mean you have to make that an in-group or out-group. If you let go of your nationality, race, gender, etc, etc...then all are people like you (no outside group). You still will have a gender, religion, etc - but you see yourself human first.

When someone wants to go to war and organize one to destroy another group - the first thing to do is make the enemy "not-people"...not like you - machines, demons, infidels/sinners, etc, but not people.

of course not.

people think differently, and those differences coupled with hotheadedness and the inability to work things out cause violence and war. even a single religion cant agree on everything. that would be why you find many different branches of religion within a religion.

if you could magicly make everyone the same religion for a while, it would quickly fall. people would find some way to sepperate themselves from others through race, culture, etc. some people just like to use religion as an excuse to put their selfish interests in a good light

Religion is never uniform in its nature, there are enough differences even in practice and customs within a religion itself that would spawn at least some friction between the various sects. It's not really realistic to propose that everyone can convert to one faith, because people think differently enough that even if somehow everyone was brought under one faith, there would be differences even within the practice of that faith.

Yes.

Furthermore, mine is the only one that can guarantee this.

For if all were Nihilists, true and dedicated... then within a short space of time there would be no war, no hatred, no suffering, no poverty, no humanity, no life, no earth.
... World peace can only be achieved by euthanising the entire planet. There are enough nuclear warheads around to do that quite easily.

hmmm!

As long as sons and daughters fight for fathers property we can not end hatred..
As long a women wants the "same jewelery" worn by another women we can not end suffering..
As long as men struggle for power and control we cant end poverty...

Isnt that what Buddha wanted to acheive... but Indians themselves do not follow buddism anymore - it is not convenient

Religion nowadays is just a tool for "cult formation" / "branding" / "stereotyping" etc...

After all Arabs and Jews are cousins and are locked in eternal hatred even today.....
Pandavas and Kauravas were cousins....

All Indians were followers of Sanathana Dharma b4 Moghols / Islam and Christianity came... they were not united before any invasion

So religion is not the key for unity... something else is... What would that be???

People fight for a host of reasons, religion is but one. But if the whole world converted to the same exact beliefs within one faith more then likely that would greatly reduce war and hatred because their faith would require them to put aside there other differences.

People are not fighting because they differ in faith. Nor do they suffer because of the differences. Neither are they poor because of the differences that exist!

So, no I cannot guarantee a peaceful world even if the whole world will turn to Jesus - I do however, gaurantee eternal life with Christ in Heaven, where righteousness, peace and joy rule!

I think that if everyone became a Buddhist there wouldn't be war etc. etc. But that's just me....it would be wrong for me to believe that even if the world was full of Buddhists that everyone was practicing what they were supposed to practice.

No that not at all a complete solution. The solution is
good People must born
people must live good
Besides
all must have eaqual wealth
same color,eaqual strenth,same god

eaven this may not stop a war..

eaqual work - eaqual pay, same language,..

eaqual Physical structre(Hight,weight,etc)
exactly 50%Men 50% woman(Not a single woman less or more),..

even now also war may begin...so ANOTHER best and simple solution is............

NO god.,no faith..,no work...,no wealth....
no women no men

No, I can't guarantee that.

However, I can guarantee that if the whole world became atheists, you would have much fewer people blowing themselves up and flying planes into buildings. You also would have fewer baseless laws like the current batch of severe prudishness that we now suffer under.
