The best way is to include stretching as part of your weightlifting program. Stretch each muscle at least 20 seconds to let the muscle spindle reflex relax. It can be done after a workout. Also, it will not have any negative impact on your strength. Using this technique has enabled me to squat more than double my weight while still being flexible enough to touch my head to my knees. Here is a good strength training routine.
