Silva has to get past Marquardt first, then they can set up the rematch with Franklin. I think Marquardt has all the tools necessary to take Silva out of his game plan, but thats my opinion(flame away!). If Silva loses, the rematch will lose a lot of its hype and Franklin would most likely face Marquardt for the title. Otherwise, the only way Franklin can beat Silva is on the ground. He made Franklin look like an amateur on the feet.

If he takes him to the ground, where Anderson Silva didn't look all that impressive. Yes, he subbed lutter, but look how easily he got taken down, and mounted. He could have very easily lost that fight, had lutter been able to cut weight more properly. If Franklin doesn't try to strike with him, then he's got a good chance.

Franklin will try to use his face to beat up Silva's knees just like last time. It's not a very good strategy.

No, I don't even think he'll win in a rematch. Silva is too dangerous to stand with, too slick to be beat by a gnp, and too crafty with his jiu jitsu to be submitted by Franklin. Franklin will win on his feet or by decision, but I'd bet on Silva to retain the title.

The only way Rich will win this fight is with a boring judge’s decision. He will sit back and pick his shots. I thought maybe if he took it to the ground he would have a decent chance. I don’t know if I would count on that though. Either way, I don’t see him really winning or doing so in any type of spectacular fashion.

Franklin won't kick his @$$ but he deffinately has the skills to win the fight. This will be a fight that really comes down to who has the better gameplan.
