When I was 6yo, my Grandmother died. I loved that woman! The same night, she came and sat on my bed and we talked. I was SO excited. I couldn't wait until I told my parents and sisters that she was still here. Of course they didn't believe me and went on with her funeral, where I threw a fit only a brat of 6 can. It took me years to understand it was her spirit, not her body that night on my bed. Some 20 yrs later I was going through a bad time in my life and she appeared again to me. I couldn't hear her or anything, just see her and smell her scent. I cried about that one. She brought me comfort, but also my sense of loss was renewed. So, ya, I have,

Nobody has really seen any ghosts. They just don't exist.
However, the human brain is geared with a bias that interprets any squeak as a human moan or glint of light as a human face. It was helpful in our early development to err on the side of thinking there was someone lurking in the bushes.

In Chinese culture, some people have a ability to see ghosts or spirits here on our world....they have the 'third eye' which actually allows them to see spirits...

When I was little I believed the was a ghost that lived in our house. It was a little girls and she was always in our basement. Now my nephew lives in the house that I grew up in and he is always talking to someone and when you ask him who he says he is talking to a friend. I believe it is the same little girl.

Yes. My mother and I lived in a haunted building. While I would see the face of a little girl appearing in the window of one of the vacant apartments and see a dark figure walking through walls, my mom and other relatives and friends would have spirits tugging on their clothes, hitting them, or sitting on their chests as they lie in bed. I can go on and on...

ive had many strange encounters from placid dreams to "seeing things"
but its not like anyone here will believe me ! :)
