boot from cd...and all these stuff but nothing change
i just bought the pc & it doesn't hav any thing on it
to boot from cd can't coz i tried alot but nothing change

i did every thing boot from cd couldn't help....MY LAPTOP NEW i just bought ...
every thing on it works normally i checked the pc (hardware) all is good ...
i hav full windows XP .....every thing i did u said to me but nothing help .....thnx if u hav more plz give me

the xp disk you are using , is it a full install disk , is it a oem . a upgrade disk ?
since the laptop has no OS it has to be a full install , a restore disk ( oem ) or a upgrade is not going to work

if you have a valid Windows XP CD, you need to boot from the CD. Make sure your machine is actually booting from the CD. If not you have to hit a key to change the primary boot option, or change it in the bios. If it is trying to boot from the CD, then you probably have a bad Cd.

You probably need to go to BIOS and change the boot order to try to read the CD-ROM first.
Soon as the computer comes on you press F1 or Delete according to what computer you have.
The look around BIOS /CMOS settings for a Boot order. Just fiddle with it till CD-ROM is first.

put the disk on it
and let it roll if you dont have it contacme to tell you where to get it
