Jesus twin brother was originally named Judas Khrestus, and leader of the Essenes sect, which Jesus having been born second, was "second in command", after Jesus departed from Israel, Judas Khrestus fled to avoid death himself, eventually dieing in India. At the time he was known as Thomas, or Tomas as is sometimes recorded, in Hindu writings.

I can't say that I am familiar with that book, but it would not be the first time nor will it be the last that a book of deceit has been proffered to contradict the truth of God's word.
I have to also say, I have never seen a painting which describes what you describe.
And Jesus had a brother named Thomas but that does not mean they were born at the same time, as he had several other half brothers and sisters.
I am glad you asked and didn't just accept the stuff as if it had truth.

A) Didymus Thomas was a twin, but who the twin was is never mentioned, presumably because either the twin was dead or the twin did not elect to follow Jesus.
B) Jesus, the Christ, was conceived by a singular act of the Holy Spirit. Mary, His mother gave Him all the DNA He needed to have a fully human body. (All you gotta do is knock off one of the tails of one of the X chromosomes and you gotta a male child instead of a female).
C) The word translated "brother" into Latin and then English is a Hebrew word that meant any close male relative of the same generation, ie, brothers who shared one or both parents, and cousins whose parents were siblings of one another. Jesus "brother" James was most likely either Joseph's sister's son or, less likely, Joseph's brother's son. He certainly had no genetic relation to Jesus.
D) Mary's virginity was not compromised by Jesus' birth and if she'd had another child it most assuredly would have been compromised, removed in fact. Yet the belief in the perpetual virginity of Mary began before her death and continues today.
E) If you want to be a theologian, then take courses, learn the languages, (Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic, greek, Koine, Latin, Coptic Greek, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Babylonian cuneiform, Sumerian cuneiform, as well as hieratic and demotic Egyptian scripts), THEN start talking about it. Otherwise you merely parade your ignorance and that can't be comfortable for your pride.

No, Jesus didn't have a twin. What picture is this, every picture I've ever seen Mary is holding Jesus, and Joseph is looking over.
Also, there was no Photography at the time, so it's not as if one of the wise men or sheperds say "OK, everybody say Cheese!!" Any image of the holy family is speculation as to what it was like.

Jesus' brother was named James.
"Thomas" translates as "twin"--this name may have meant the figure of Thomas in the Gospel of John and Gospel of Thomas was actually a twin, or there could be some sort of symbolic value to his name.

No.
It is true however that Jesus had a brother - later on - by the name of Thomas.
Jesus was conceived through holy spirit. And he was the only one in the womb at the time.

Sounds to me like you are the one who has been deceived, and it is the devil who has done the deceiving. Jesus had no twin, his brother Thomas was much younger the HE was.
