I guess you've asked this question after reading the answers of your other question about the "towel". Being bland is in a way humorous. That's how I see it. Some people take things so seriously and some don't.
Keep on joking around and make Y/A a fun place to visit in the net.

I used to be like that couldnt take a joke at all, i'm kinda over that now, sometimes i still dont know how to take a joke, especially 1 thats not funny.

Well by your picture maybe they want to indulge in some serious conversation. It all depends on the joke I guess. What was the joke? How do people know if the joke went too far or not.

Everyone has a different sense of humor. The key is to surround yourself by people that you not only feel comfortable around, but that you feel have a good sense of humor to you. These are usually the people that will find your sense of humor just as funny. Not saying that you should only hang out with people with your kind of sense of humor, because variety is the spice of life right? not only that but when you are around those people that don't have as funny a sense of humor think of it as interesting, and find out more about them and what makes them tick, this way it won't be as annoying, because you'll understand them better, which is what everyone wants anyway, to be understood right? even you. Plus i always find the people that are different than me more interesting because they have a different perspective on everything that i think, so in return i become alot more knowledgeable in different areas. ya know?

A couple of reasons - one, they're insecure and assume they're the butt of every joke and can't take that, and 2, because they're so self-righteous and rigid that they've lost the perspective to see the humor in things.
