If washes and over the counter acne treatments aren't working than the problem is diet related. Believe it or not you may have a food allergy and it is showing up on your skin. At the library get the book "Back to Eden" by Klauss - in the first few chapters there is great advice on how to cleanse your system and adjust your diet for healthy skin and body. It takes about 2 weeks but the effects last literally your whole life! Good Luck!

Try the Clinique counter at the department store. They sell excellent products and have a top rated acne treatment cream, probably a whole line of soap/lotion for your skin. Proactive is worth a try. Benzoyl peroxide products and salycic acid products. If you try the above and it still doesn't work, you really should see a dermatologist. Many times you can't control the acne unless you go on antibiotics in conjunction with prescription cream.

Start eating healthier and try to reduce stress as much as possible. Wear makeup that is oil free and won't clog pores. But your best bet is to not wear any at all. Also, do not wash your face more than 2-3 times per day. Overwashing can actually make matters worse. If all else fails, I suggest a dermatologist. Or you could invest in something like proactiv. It works wonders for my skin.

Have you tried Proactive Solution? It is advertised on TV and is also available on the web. I hear it is very effective, although I don't know anyone who has personally tried it. You also might want to try contacting a dermatologist for expert advice. Keep your chin up, you have options!
